Chapter Seven

The orgy room

Corey was pretty determined to get her to the club, so on Tuesday night, Alexa found herself back with him in the safety of the club. She wouldn’t allow him to meet her outside, and even though at work she looked for him, he didn’t invade her space. She had no doubt that he knew where she lived. He’d had access to her file, and before she burned her file, she saw that her address was indeed there, along with all of her other documents. When she saw the fantasy part of the file, she’d been embarrassed. Once she read through her answers, she saw she’d not gone into detail of her darkest ones.

In three weeks Becca was going to be back home, and Alexa was worried about what her friend would think. They never really talked about their own personal lives, but she just knew her friend would say something about her time with Corey.

The club members were talking about them, which was strange. She noticed the pointed looks and the whispers. Some women had even approached Corey tonight wondering if he wanted a taste. She hadn’t said anything even though she’d been struck by jealousy at their rudeness. Alexa fought with herself constantly not to show any emotion when it came to Corey. She liked him, and that was enough to get her hurt. He’d waited for her at the entrance to the club, and even escorted her to the main bar. Now, they were actually sat in the orgy room that Nathan had taken her to.

She looked around the room, and it just didn’t do it for her.

Sure, it was pretty hot watching the men and women get it on, but that kind of sex never any appeal to her. She liked sex, but she preferred to know who her partner actually was.

“Orgy is not your thing?” Corey asked.

“Nah. Sex is all well and good, but look, they’re just diving right in. I don’t judge anyone who likes it. I don’t. Do you?”

“No. I don’t actually. But I’ve never even wanted to try it. I just find it interesting to watch.”

“You’re being serious, right now?” She never really knew if he was just trying to make her comfortable or not.

“Yeah, I don’t see the appeal.”

“Then why bring me here?”

“Getting to know you, babe.”

She turned back to look at the room, and couldn’t help but smile. Alexa couldn’t lie to herself about how he was making her feel. He was making it hard for her to fight her growing feelings for him.

Tucking some hair behind her ear, she snuggled up against them as they watched the show. He wrapped his arm around her, and she felt comforted.

It was one of the nights they actually spent together, watching the show, and never actually doing anything together. She didn’t feel the need to. Corey didn’t seem to mind either. They held each other, and at the end of the night, he saw her to her car.
